Science

At Grimsdyke School we build on children’s natural curiosity and develop their scientific approach to problems. We believe that a broad and balanced science education is the entitlement of all children regardless of ethnic origin, gender, class, aptitude or disability. In each year group we equip them with the scientific knowledge required to understand the uses and implications of science for today and for the future. We help children to acquire a progressive understanding of scientific ideas and to raise awareness and appreciation of our environment. Children are given the experience of scientific processes, and practical scientific skills to develop their scientific thinking and reasoning.
